Another candidate for BC #3 is
Thor amboinensis, commonly known as sexy shrimp. We know they have been bred in captivity before to settlement by LisaP and her thread contains some good information:

Greenbean also mentioned there was a print article on raising sexy shrimp a few years ago, probably in FAMA or one of the more popular ones. If we can find that, that would be a huge help.
April Kirkendoll's peppermint shrimp book will probably provide some basic guidelines as well.
I did a very brief (30min) literature search a while back and didn't find anything, but plan on doing a longer one soon.
